The first thing you need to know is at what point you feel like you need an interior designer. Most people don’t wake up one morning and say, “I’m bored with my kitchen. I’m going to spend thousands of dollars to renovate it.” The process of renovation or re-decorating is a slow, well-thought out decision. There are many questions to ask yourself, these are just a few…

If, after much deliberation, you feel you are ready to start re-designing your home then it’s time to shop around for the best designer that will work in your favor. I can’t speak for other designers, but here at Elizabeth Erin Designs we make sure you get the best results and overall experience. We know the field; there are always complications and unforeseen circumstances that cause hiccups in the design process. One of the benefits of having us on your team is that we know how to overcome these circumstances and even offer project management so you don’t have to deal with the tiny hiccups along the way. Our fees are low for the services we offer because we know that you want the majority of your money to go towards differences you’ll see in your home rather than our pockets. So, lets start from the beginning. If you call Elizabeth Erin Designs office for information, Ashley, our office manager, will tell you these are the steps…
- An initial meeting with the designer to understand your project(s) and get an idea of your personal style, where we listen, ask questions and take photos. This first meeting will take about one hour. At this meeting we will schedule a follow up consultation to review the report we will email you. This meeting is about two weeks out from the first one.
- Once your customized interior design report is completed, approximately 2 days before the follow up meeting, we will email it to you to review. The report includes design ideas, inspiration photos and customized pricing for your project. This will allow you to review the report and get a list of questions ready for your designer, for the second meeting.
- At the second meeting/review, the designer will go through the report with you and help to set priorities based on your needs and budget.
The investment in both Interior Design Consultation(s), including the report, is $185.00 plus tax.
After the initial consultation and you have reviewed your report, we will discuss how much or little design work you would like to proceed with. Depending on what specifically you want to do, we will set you up with a sample binder. This binder includes things like paint charts, sample report, calendar, estimates, order sheets etc. Depending on the breadth of the project, you can select one of our three different design packages (gold, silver, and bronze). Each of these packages can, and will, be customized to fit exactly what you want/need. (This is just an overall template that we use here in the office.) We know money doesn’t grow on trees and the process of designing your home could take anywhere from a month to years, if you so choose. From there you decide how involved you would like us to be and how much that would cost you.

- Living Room: Furniture-‐ selection of all furniture including fabric, wood finish, samples, pillows, floor plan layout, ordering, monitoring delivery and set up. Accessories -‐ selection of all accessories including rugs, accent pillows, light fixtures, artwork and placement. Paint -‐ Selection of paint colors and design. Window treatments -‐ Selection of window treatments including fabric, hardware, functionality, size, ordering and delivering, monitoring install, steaming and doing final touches. Fireplace Design -‐ Selection of all materials, finishes, and design of the fireplace wall.

Gathering Estimates: After selections have been made we will gather all estimates for any contract work that will need to be done according to the report. Light installation, paint, window treatment install, and backsplash install and any additional items listed within the package. We will use our contractors to get the best rates for your project but can work with your recommendations as well. We will supervise the contractors coming into your home, handle all questions and organize the estimates into a budget sheet.
Fee: $TBD
Project Management: After obtaining the estimates, we will meet with you to confirm all revisions and what projects you want to move forward with. We will put together a work flow calendar and meetings to review the scope of work with the contractors, directing contractors, ordering product, and delivering product for installation. You will pay the contractors directly. We will get lien waivers signed and notarized for you.
Fee: $TBD
Retainer Package: Elizabeth Erin Designs can help you throughout your project if you choose to do the selections process yourself. We will set up a system that will work best for what it is you’re needing assistance with for an hourly rate. This can be combined with the selections packages above.
Hourly Rate: $175 plus tax
These prices are for Elizabeth Erin Designs design fees and do not include product or labor. You will receive discounted pricing on product through our vendors and sub-‐contractors.
