Galentine’s Day Event Recap

Jodi Peterman Parties, Seasonal

If you’ve been following along on our Facebook page for the last month, you know that we were getting ready for our first ever Galentine’s event with a bunch of different vendors in tow, that we hosted with The Flooring Guys next door to us! Lexi, Sammi, and Tasha (with TFG) were awesome teammates in making the event all come together.

For those of you who are curious as to what a “galentine” is: A galentine is a girl friend in your life who you want to show some extra love to – your mom, your sister, your best friend, etc. You can get together with your gal-pals and have a fun night in leu of Valentine’s Day. It’s really to show love and appreciation to all the ladies you have in your life.

We had about 10 vendors total throughout EED’s & TFG’s showrooms – all with products and services that every gal would enjoy – hence the event name “Galentine’s!” We wanted to make sure each vendor was lady-friendly.

We had everything from hair product lines (Monat) to wine tastings (from The Cellar) to home made soaps (Grounded Body & Home) and anything in between! I mean, what doesn’t say “I love you,” like giving your bestie a bottle of wine and a bar of home made soap? Personally, I would LOVE giving something like this to my besties. Even I would love to enjoy a glass of wine while soaking up the suds of a new bar of soap and binge watch my fave show.

Some of the other “self love” vendors included LipSense – lip colors that WILL NOT smudge and lasts for HOURS. Personally speaking, I wore a lip color from LipSense for my wedding day that lasted from 7am the morning of to the next morning when we woke up! Tried and true believer over here!! 31Bags were also present for our event with so many bags, you had to be there to believe it! She had a product for ANYTHING you could ever want a bag for – even reusuable snack bags for kids with fun animals!

Not only did we have “self love” vendors, but we also had “take care of yourself” vendors. Spa810 offered massages, Advocare offered getting into shape products, YoungLiving brought natural oils to treat anything and everything under the moon, and Rag Mop Cleaning offered her cleaning services for when you just can’t!

I would also like to put in a note here saying how much we appreciate each and every one of you for coming to EED & TFG to support the ladies who were vendors for this event. I know it means a lot to us, but it means even more to them since they all either do this for their side hustles or for their full-time jobs. Women supporting women is an awesome thing to see!

Much love,

Sammi
