As 2024 comes to a close, we at Elizabeth Erin Designs are taking a moment to soak in the journey we’ve had this year. It’s been a time of growth, challenges, and unforgettable moments that have shaped us, both as a company and as individuals. We’ve been inspired, humbled, and filled with immense gratitude for the experiences and connections that made this year so memorable.
1. Expanding Our Reach and Impact Nationwide
From the serene beaches of South Destin, Florida, to the bustling suburbs outside Chicago, to the beauty of Virginia Beach, and the heart of Iowa, our work has taken us to some of the most breathtaking and diverse places. We’ve been privileged to design spaces that are not just visually stunning but that tell the personal stories of our amazing clients.
Standout Project: One of the highlights this year was working on a project in Vorhes, TN, near Knoxville. We had previously worked on a kitchen remodel and furniture design for this client’s home in Des Moines, Iowa. When she and her husband moved to Tennessee to embrace life in the Appalachian Mountains, we were thrilled to continue the journey with them. Their new home had incredible architectural bones but needed updates to meet their lifestyle needs. We’re now collaborating through our concierge services to guide them from design conception, contractor bidding, and construction, all the way to furniture installation. Seeing our visual designs bring their vision to life and witnessing the impact firsthand reminds us of the power of a shared dream. We can’t wait to share more updates in 2025!
2. Launching New Services and Processes
This year, we ventured into new territory with our Designing in 5D approach. What began as a heartfelt conversation with a client who felt overwhelmed turned into a transformative moment for our company. I remember sitting with her, hearing her struggles, and realizing that something was missing. I asked her, “How can I support you through this?” That conversation was the catalyst for developing our concierge service, which adds layers of Compassion and Transcendence to our process. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about creating a supportive, holistic experience that truly touches lives.
That moment of connection is something I’ll never forget. It reaffirmed our purpose and ignited our passion to keep innovating for the betterment of our clients. It’s those moments that remind us why we love what we do.
3. Celebrating Our Team’s Talent
Our team is the heartbeat of Elizabeth Erin Designs, and their growth has been one of the most rewarding parts of 2024. Ashtyn celebrated her 8th year with us, consistently inspiring everyone with her dedication and spirit. Haylee has stepped up in ways that have been incredibly supportive, helping me and the entire company run more smoothly. Their can-do attitudes challenge and inspire me to be the best leader I can be.
Ally has found her groove in marketing, taking on more responsibility and making our social media and podcast content shine. Deb continues to impress with her commitment to keeping our clients updated on product orders, and her marketing insights have been key to our outreach efforts. KayAnna’s support, even while balancing college, has been so appreciated—she’s always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. And Danielle, our incredible office assistant, keeps us all on track, managing our calendars and ensuring our days run smoothly.
One of our favorite behind-the-scenes traditions is our Friday morning Zoom meetings. We come together to check in, celebrate wins, and cheer each other on. The laughter, camaraderie, and sense of shared purpose make those early mornings something we genuinely look forward to.
4. Building Stronger Community Connections
This year, we strengthened our commitment to community engagement. From partnering with the Emerald Coast Women’s Council of Realtors to fostering relationships with local contractors and vendors, our connections have deepened our sense of purpose. We launched a November charitable campaign to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts, and I was profoundly moved by the outpouring of support from our clients. Watching our community come together to make a difference was one of the most fulfilling moments of the year.
5. Pivoting and Innovating in a Changing Market
2024 was full of surprises—tight budgets, evolving timelines, and unexpected hurdles—but we’ve embraced each challenge as an opportunity to grow. We’ve learned to pivot quickly, value-engineer creatively, and lean on our amazing strategic partners. It’s been a masterclass in resilience and empathy, and we’ve come out stronger and more adaptable than ever.

Thank you to our partners who collaborate with us and our incredible team who show up every day with passion and dedication. Looking Ahead to 2025
As we look forward to 2025, we’re already dreaming big. While we didn’t add new states to our map this year, we’re confident that the future holds even more opportunities for growth and expansion. We can’t wait to see what’s next and to continue designing spaces that feel like home in the truest sense.
