Wikipedia describes a New Year’s Resolution as:…a commitment that a person makes to one or more personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit. A key element to a New Year’s resolution that sets it apart from other resolutions is that it is made in anticipation of the New Year and new beginnings. People committing themselves to a New Year’s resolution generally plan to do so for the whole following year. This lifestyle change is generally interpreted as advantageous.
I am so excited to be in 2013! As of January 3, 2013, Elizabeth Erin Designs has been in business for 10 years! Starting a new year of not just business, but personal as well, I always try to come up with some areas to improve upon.
One of my resolutions this year is to be more organized and set systems in place for my business. That’s why I was so excited that I found The Neat Company who makes a desktop scanner. It takes all the information from the documents you scan and puts them into files. I think Alyssa is more excited about it than I am, to be honest. I will keep you posted on how it ends up working out. I am attaching a link if anyone wants to check it out: http://www.neat.com/products
I have also named 2013 the Year of FUN! I am going to try to add a little FUN into everything we do in business and in family life because in December my twin daughter’s turned 13. I am now the mother of teenagers! It still sounds so foreign to me. Where did all the years go? Because teenage years can tend NOT to be FUN years (or so I’ve heard!), I have decided to somehow make them FUN. Stay tuned and Happy 2013!
