We have mentioned it before and we will mention it again… First impressions count! Grab a buyers’ attention by using teaser shots to drive buyers to a physical showing. Teaser photos show a close up of the room’s highlights without showing the entire space. For example, if your kitchen’s differentiating feature is new countertops and backsplash, show a teaser shot of that area with an overview of the kitchen in the best angle. If you have a beautiful landscaped exterior, make sure to get close up shots of the foliage/hardscape and then one photo of the overview of the entire space. Other areas not to leave out are the main living spaces and the master bedroom and bathroom. You want photos showcasing the best of these main spaces with just enough to make a buyer say, “I love that – I want to see more in person!”. Spaces that are minor can wait for an in person walk through, such as powder rooms and/or extra bedrooms, garage and unfinished basements. Now that you have all your great teaser shots, next is using them effectively to grab the attention of buyers! Typically an exterior front photo is the first picture a potential buyer sees, but what if that doesn’t showcase the home in the best light? Set yourself apart and make the best teaser shot the cover photo on your listing, making your first impression a memorable one.
