We literally just got back from vacation yesterday and I am so excited to get back to designing. We rented a house close to the beach with friends on Gulf Shores, AL. It was on average about a 20 hour drive, but was totally worth every second in the car. We arrived on Saturday evening and planned a great day of lounging on the beach for Father’s Day. The girls made a beautiful card/poster for the dads!
We also had other good firsts happen on this trip, like our first Dolphin Cruise, coordinated by our amazing President of Vacation (POV). And no it was not me this year! There were two boats that went out together and when the captain spotted dolphins they would run the boats side by side and the dolphins would play in the wakes, it was amazing!
Another first, and favorite part of the trip was parasailing. Scott and I went together and then the girls all went together. It was nothing like I expected. It was very peaceful and calm. Scott and I were able to have conversation very easily. We saw a school of about 75-100 sharks below us in Orange Beach, that was an incredible site to behold!
I think this last picture says it all. It was a wonderful time shared with great friends making amazing memories to last a lifetime. Summer Vacation 2015!
