If you need some inspiration in the meantime, here are some interior design trends we expect to see in 2023!

#1: Arches

Arches are a great way to bring in an angular shape into your home – especially if you are trying to break the mold of using all linear, straight lines. Arches can be incorporated through fireplaces, doorways, mirrors, artwork, etc. A great thing about arches is that they move a viewers eye around a room in an aesthetically pleasing way.

#2: Accent Ceilings

In our opinion, the accent ceiling is the new accent wall – although both are great ways to spruce up a space. An accent ceiling tends to draw the eye up, and can help make your ceilings seem a bit taller. Looking for ways to incorporate this trend? Think wallpaper, wood trim accent, or even something as simple as a quick paint color.

#3: Bouclé

Bouclé is a textile that is here to stay! What a fun texture – nubby, chic-looking and perfect for upholstery, this is something we are excited to use more of! If you are looking for a way to incorporate more playful and neutral pieces in your home, a bouclé furniture item is the perfect addition!

#4: Diagonal Lines, Shapes, and Patterns

Diagonal lines are the best way to directionally move a viewers eye around a room. Have a certain feature you want to draw to – such as a BEAUTIFUL view out your window, or a jaw-dropping light fixture? Install a product (flooring, tile, wood trim) in your room in a diagonal pattern pointing towards this feature, and watch as viewers eyes draw to the spotlight! A fun optical illusion to incorporate in 2023!
