Our Current Favorite Tile!

Tile is known best for its many shapes, textures, colors, and patterns. It naturally adds a perfect amount of detail to elevate any design, but at times can be pricey. At Elizabeth Erin Designs, we cater to any budget and can help achieve your vision WITHIN budget. Today, we want to share with you our favorite budget-friendly tiles.

Jodi states, “I love the texture! This 3-D wall tile delivers texture in spades. I have used a similar tile to create a 22′ accent wall in a stairwell (see 2019 show-home photo) as well as to create a killer look in a bathroom renovation as you can see in the rendering. I cannot wait to see this one completed!”

Ashtyn loves the subway tile look and explains how to spice up the simple tile. “When it comes to a kitchen, my go-to tile option is always the classic subway tile backsplash. When designing on a budget, you can easily achieve a high end finish with a subway tile. These days, subway tiles come in all sorts of textures, finishes, sizes, and colors so even if you are trying to avoid breaking the bank, you can still achieve a unique look. If I had to choose one subway tile to use, my favorite would be a 3″x12″ tile with textured edges.

Another fun way to make your subway tile backsplash look unique is to select a fun grout color or even change up the install pattern to a herringbone or vertical style.”

Katie says, “One of my favorite budget-friendly tiles in Daltile’s Memoir collection! (https://www.daltile.com/products/concrete-look/memoir). They can be used on either a floor or a wall application and come in several different patterns. They tend to be used more in a farmhouse style, but also look great with some traditional and modern elements! ”

Haylee is also in love with budget friendly subway tile. “I love any subway tile in a herringbone pattern. This can be done on walls, floors, or as shower accents. I think it’s a great way to provide some visual interest to the space without everything being vertical or horizontal. You can pick any budget friendly tile and achieve this look just by changing the way it’s installed. ”

Overall, tile can tend to be an expensive feat but always helps elevate the space. Our designers at Elizabeth Erin Designs love tiles of all shapes, sizes, colors, AND budgets.
